1. What made you take that first step to join Overtime Fitness—and how has it changed your life?
I took the first step to join Overtime Fitness after seeing the free 7-day trial ad a few times on my IG feed. It was during the dead of winter and I wanted to make a real change in my health and mindset. I was tired of feeling sluggish and unmotivated, and I knew I needed structure, support, and accountability to stay consistent.
I signed up for the free 7-Day trial and within days, signed up as a member. What drew me in was the positive energy and community vibe—I felt welcomed from day one.
Since joining, my life has completely shifted. I’ve gained confidence, built healthier habits, and pushed myself further than I thought possible. Additionally, I have seen tremendous gains in strength and endurance when playing basketball, pickleball; when curling, golfing, and keeping up with my young and active children.

2. What surprised you most about the Blue Star Transformation Challenge?
I was most surprised by how easy the Blue Star Challenge guide was to follow. I expected something more complicated or overwhelming, but it broke everything down in such a clear and manageable way.
Building better nutrition and regular exercise into my day-to-day life felt natural, not forced. It didn’t take long before the changes started feeling like part of my routine rather than a chore. Overtime workouts complimented my workout needs during this challenge well.
3. How did the Overtime coaches and community support you through your journey?
Coach Andrew, Coach Jassie, Coach Robyn and members of the OF tribe played a huge role in my growth by constantly pushing me to reach new limits. They challenged me to lift heavier, which in turn helped improve my strength and confidence.
Their encouragement during tough workouts—cheering me on, celebrating small victories, and never letting me give up—kept me motivated and focused.
The positive feedback I received, whether it was on my form or progress reminded me that improvement is a journey and that I wasn’t on it alone. Their support made all the difference.
4. What’s one personal win—physical or non-physical—you’re most proud of?
I am most proud of deciding to take the leap and start my health journey. By prioritizing myself, I’ve not only improved my well-being but also set a positive example for my kids. It’s been empowering to show them the importance of self discipline, self-determination, self-care and making healthier choices.
